Patient-Centered Design: Core Values in Health Care

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In many ways, our health care system become more of a “sick care” system. When people are treated as transactions, and systems are designed by legislation, then technology and workflows become ineffectual and seemingly impossible to change. How can we design a new ecosystem of care, with people at its center? In this session, we’ll explore true patient-centric design — not just interface or product design, but the entire experience. This includes reexamining the health care journey, using design and right-brain thinking to solve business problems, and making empathy, understanding, and wellbeing our ultimate goals.
