Medication Adherence: Programming More than a Reminder

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The number of people who skip or avoid taking medication, despite the dangers and the profound effects, is astounding. How can we move beyond the notion that a reminder really ought to be enough, and instead design for the true, intrinsic challenges of medical adherence? In Medication Adherence, we’ll discuss the complex social, economic, political, and technical challenges patients face when taking medication to battle illness and manage chronic conditions, and explore ways that empathetic, human-centric design can inform products and programs to truly improve medical adherence.
